This little Cottage is the ideal getaway for a couple or small family!

It is one of two houses situated on an elevated site in quiet countryside with views to rolling hills and Croagh Patrick in the distance. Only a few minutes from the Wild Atlantic Way, the towns of Westport and Newport, it is in an ideal location as a touring base for exploring County Mayo with Achill Island and Connemara only short drives away.

The area has excellent angling waters all around, plenty of walking & cycling tracks, including Ireland's most famous cycling route, the Western Greenway, a choice of good golf courses and abundant rough shooting and, moreover, a charm of scenery attracting artists, writers as well as photographers.

The cottage itself consists of two rooms:

• a lounge/dining area cum kitchen with an additional bed and good views through the front door and window
• one double bedroom with a separate spacious bathroom.
